Some of the statues are half beast and half man and others look like imaginary animals with eagle\u2019s wings, lion\u2019s clawed paws and a snake\u2019s tail. Brrrr, I get goosebumps just thinking about them!! More\u2026<br \/>\nGargoyles were also put at the end of the gutters to evacuate rainwater from the roof.<br \/>\nThey can be found on the facades of churches like Notre Dame Cathedral (see photo) and are the most famous ones watching over Paris.<br \/>\nGargoyles are demons that protect us from other demons.
